Description
Advanced Lighting Upgrade. The Diode Dynamics Red LED Bulbs; 3157 XP80 offer a modern and instantly responsive upgrade for the rear turn signals of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Designed to directly replace factory incandescent bulbs, these LEDs provide an instant on/off blinking effect that enhances both vehicle aesthetics and signaling clarity.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring sixteen high-power 5W LEDs arranged to emit light in all directions, these bulbs include a robust metal heatsink to sustain optimal operating temperatures. The integrated inductive constant-current drive circuit maintains consistent brightness, and the red lens meets SAE/DOT requirements for turn signal color.
Installation. Installation is simple with OEM plug-and-play connectors and requires no modifications or drilling. To ensure proper operation without hyperflashing or bulb out warnings, LED load resistors must be installed by tapping into the factory turn signal wiring.
Warranty. These bulbs come with a 3-year limited warranty, providing assurance of long-term durability.
Application. Specifically designed to fit rear turn signals on Jeep Grand Cherokee models from 1999 through 2026. Installation requires LED load resistors to prevent hyperflashing due to the vehicle’s CANBUS system.
