These Diode Dynamics Red LED Bulbs provide a modern upgrade for Jeep Grand Cherokee rear turn signals, delivering instant on/off illumination with vibrant red light that meets SAE/DOT requirements. Designed as direct replacements for factory incandescent 3157 bulbs, these LEDs feature multiple brightness level options to suit different preferences and needs.

      Construction and Appearance. The HP48 variant includes 48 omnidirectional LEDs with a diffusing cover for even light distribution and a clean appearance when off. The bulbs employ constant-current inductive circuitry with transient suppression to enhance durability against voltage spikes and automotive conditions. Metal heatsinks are included with the HP11 and XP80 options to aid heat dissipation and reliability.

      Installation. Installation uses the factory 3157 bulb socket and requires no drilling or modification to the bulb socket itself, providing true plug-and-play convenience. The process typically takes 5-10 minutes and requires only a non-marring trim tool. Note that an LED resistor kit is required to prevent hyperblinking and bulb-out warnings on Jeep Grand Cherokees with BCM-controlled flashers, which involves wiring taps for the resistors.
