HIGH-PERFORMANCE HEAT PROTECTION. The Pipe Shield; 4.50-Inch x 8.50-Inch; Stainless Steel provides effective radiant heat shielding for exhaust pipes and other hot components. It helps prevent burns, shields surrounding parts from heat damage, and enhances occupant comfort by blocking excessive heat transfer.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This shield is crafted from durable 304 stainless steel with a two-layer design featuring an insulating inner layer capable of withstanding up to 2000°F of radiant heat. Its construction includes welded seams for added strength, and stainless steel standoffs create a half-inch air gap for optimal heat dissipation. The finish retains the natural metallic texture of stainless steel.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, as the shield mounts easily with the included stainless steel hose clamps. Its flexible, preformed curved shape allows it to conform to various pipe sizes with minimal adjustment.
