Designed to be installed without disconnecting existing lines, it provides a convenient and effective thermal shield critical for demanding automotive applications.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This product is constructed from a heat-treated 20 oz glass fiber base laminated with a high-temperature gold metalized polyamide material. Reinforced with aramid thread, it provides enhanced heat resistance, abrasion durability, and flame-retardant properties. The finish is a gold reflective surface that contributes to its heat-reflective capabilities.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward and tool-free, requiring no removal of lines or hoses. The shroud is cut to length, slipped over the components, and secured using the integrated hook-and-loop closure for an adjustable fit.
