Heat Protection Solution. The Heat Sheath GOLD; 1.25-Inch x 36-Inch offers durable protection against heat and abrasion for critical lines, hoses, and wires. It reflects harmful radiant heat to maintain optimal temperature and performance in demanding automotive environments.
Construction and Appearance. This product is crafted from a high-temperature gold metalized polyamide laminated to a rugged 20-ounce heat-treated glass fiber base, reinforced with aramid thread to provide excellent resistance to heat, abrasion, and flames. It features a gold reflective finish that enhances its radiant heat reflection capabilities.
Installation. Installation is straightforward requiring no special tools or drilling; simply unhook the component, cut the sheath to the desired length, slide it over the line or hose, and reattach. This design enables quick application with minimal effort.
Application. Fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required to accommodate specific setups. It should not be applied directly to exhaust components.
