The Floor and Tunnel Shield II; 21-Inch x 48-Inch; Black is designed to effectively block engine and exhaust heat from entering vehicle interiors and protect surrounding components from heat damage. This product is ideal for use on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floors, and various other areas where heat protection and a sleek black finish are desired. Its flexible nature allows for customization to fit unique installation spaces.

      Construction and Appearance. The shield features an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8-inch composite glass-fiber core, providing durability and heat resistance up to 1750°F. It is coated with a proprietary high-temperature black finish that offers a professional, matte appearance while resisting cracking from bending or shaping during installation.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward due to the aggressive peel-and-stick adhesive backing that withstands heat up to 450°F. No drilling is typically required, making the application process quick and convenient for users.

      Application. This product fits universal applications and may require some adaptation for specific vehicle configurations. It is important not to apply the adhesive side directly to exhaust components to avoid damage.
