Description
Purpose And Functionality. The Factory Digital Mirror Camera Relocation Kit with Camera is designed to maintain the use of the factory rear view mirror camera when a truck topper or other modification blocks the original camera location. It relocates the factory camera to the third brake light on your truck cap, allowing continuous use of the digital rear view mirror without obstruction. This ensures both safety and convenience for truck owners who require an unobstructed camera view.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features a durable steel mounting bracket engineered specifically for GM factory mirror cameras. The mounting hardware is made in the USA and designed for a clean, professional installation that complements any truck topper. The OEM GM camera included is IP68 rated for waterproof and dustproof performance, ensuring longevity and reliability through various driving conditions.
Installation. Installation is designed for the DIYer. The camera housing bracket attaches directly to the existing third brake light on the truck cap, and the camera wiring harness routes to the factory connector inside the cab, simplifying the process for ease of installation.
Warranty. This product comes with a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturer defects and workmanship.
