4-Piston Calipers. Brembo's 4-Piston Monoblock Calipers are made from aluminum alloy, giving them a lightweight but tough exterior ready to handle extreme racing conditions. Each caliper is specifically mounted over a rotor and connected to your car's hydraulic system. This leads to improved brake precision, ensuring that the pressure applied to the pedal is transferred quickly and accurately to the calipers.
Floating Brake Discs. The brake pad's friction material is made from a special compound developed by Brembo and is specifically designed to match your car's application. The 2-piece floating brake discs are drilled and vented to keep the brake pad surface clean and prevent debris and gas build up from occurring. This is where the high-tech floating hardware comes into play, enabling the brake discs to float in both radial and axial directions. This allows the discs to either contract or expand depending on the temperature. To top it all off, these cross-drilled brake discs also increase your brake torque and heat dissipation by reducing un-sprung weight.
