Our Boosted Performance intake upgrade for the Duramax L5P draws more than 50% more air into the engine compared to the stock intake - resulting in increased horsepower and torque and improving turbocharger efficiency. Our performance intake will add up to 20whp and 40wtq when used in conjunction with a tuner while still offering 10whp+ gains on a completely stock truck. In addition to improved power and performance the increased airflow will give you better throttle response, faster turbo spool, decreased temps, and some small fuel economy increases.
This intake uses a larger 4" piping diameter combined with a large high-quality air filter made in the USA. The piping in CNC machined and mandrel bent aluminum finished in a wrinkle black coating designed to minimize heat transfer. The open air design maximizes airflow offering more performance gains and benefits that closed box intakes on the market.
This is a direct bolt-on fitment for 2017-2019 Silverado and Sierra 2500/3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax L5P diesel engine. Easy DIY install in under an hour!
