Description
Enhanced Suspension Performance. The BDS Tubular Front Upper Control Arms upgrade the upper control arms on select trucks to improve wheel travel and suspension articulation. These arms are designed for vehicles with leveled and lifted suspensions equipped with 2–3", 4", and 6" Performance Elite Coilover Kits and can also complement some 6.5-inch lift kits, enhancing durability and handling performance.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-strength 1.5-inch outer diameter steel tubing with a .120-inch wall thickness, these control arms provide superior strength compared to stock components. They feature factory-style rubber bushings and greaseable ball joints with protective caps, and arrive fully assembled for immediate installation with a robust and functional design.
Installation. Installation typically requires 2 to 3 hours and is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for existing stamped steel or aluminum OE control arms.
Application. This kit fits 2014-2018 Silverado 1500, Sierra 1500, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Yukon XL models equipped with aluminum or stamped steel OE control arms and excludes models with OE cast steel control arms or equipped with MagneRide suspension systems.
