Description
High-Performance Steering Stabilizer. The BDS NX2 Single Steering Stabilizer is designed to improve steering control and reduce vibrations on rugged terrain, providing enhanced handling for heavy-duty trucks. It is intended to replace the factory stabilizer on compatible vehicles to maintain smooth operation of the steering system.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a robust 2-inch steel cylinder, the stabilizer features a large 1-3/8 inch fluon-banded piston with self-lubricating seals and a hardened 14mm chrome shaft to resist damage from rocks and corrosion. The shock has a durable metallic silver finish for added longevity and aesthetic appeal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward as it serves as a direct replacement for the original equipment stabilizer. Mounting bracket kits are sold separately and may be necessary depending on the vehicle’s existing setup.
Application. Designed specifically for 01-10 4WD Silverado 2500 HD models. This stabilizer is only compatible with vehicles equipped with a factory-style single stabilizer and will not fit heavy-duty front-end upgrade kits that alter steering components.
