Description
High-Performance Steering Stabilizer. The BDS Single Steering Stabilizer Kit with NX2 Nitro Shock is designed to improve the handling and control of trucks equipped with larger tires by reducing steering feedback, shimmy, and bump steer. It is installed as an upgrade to extend the life of factory steering components and is ideal for on- or off-road use where precise steering response is needed.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features mounting brackets made from high-strength steel with a heavy-duty gusseted design for durability. The stabilizer shock itself boasts a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, a 2-inch body, a 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, self-lubricating seals, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft with a metallic silver finish that resists corrosion and rock chips.
Installation. The kit is designed for straightforward installation with bolt-on mounting brackets requiring no drilling or complex modifications, making it suitable for most mechanically inclined users.
