Description

The BDS 4 to 5.50-Inch Front Lift Coil Springs provide a custom-tuned lift solution for diesel and gas Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks, allowing drivers to adjust spring rates and ride heights for optimized performance. These coil springs support the truck’s body and chassis weight, ensuring superior suspension articulation and wheel travel over varying terrain.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high tensile steel, these coil springs undergo cold or hot winding processes using chrome silicon 9254 or 5160 materials to enhance durability and longevity. They receive a polyester-based powder coat finish that ensures both flexibility and surface protection, supplemented by shot peening and hydraulic stress presetting to prevent sag and increase tensile strength.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with an estimated time of 1–2 hours and requires no drilling, making it accessible for experienced DIYers or professional installers.
Application. Fits 2014–2018 Ram 2500 and 2013–2018 Ram 3500 applications for 4-inch diesel / 5.5-inch gas lift setups.
