Description
Performance Suspension Upgrade. The BDS 5.50-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks offers a complete lift solution that enhances stance, performance, and off-road capability. It raises the front by 5.5 inches and the rear by 4 inches, providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires while preserving factory driveline geometry.
Construction and Appearance. This kit includes high-strength tubular radius arms for increased durability and precise caster control, a forged drop pitman arm, progressive rate coil springs made from high tensile steel, and premium nitrogen-charged FOX 2.0 Performance shocks. All components are engineered for rugged reliability and finished with durable coatings to ensure lasting performance under demanding conditions.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and requires drilling and specialty tools such as a pitman arm puller and welding equipment. The estimated install time is about 3 hours.
Application. Designed for 2014-2018 4WD gas Ram 2500 models equipped with rear OE air ride suspension, including 5.7L and 6.4L engines. Exhaust modification may be necessary on 6.4L models to clear the front driveshaft, and potentially on some 5.7L models as well.
