Description

The BDS 4-Inch Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit with Rear Lift Blocks and FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks enhances your vehicle’s off-road capability and stance by providing increased ground clearance and improved suspension control. This kit is designed to improve handling stability by reducing caster change and maintaining factory suspension geometry while accommodating larger 36-inch tires, although some trimming may be required.

Construction and Appearance. The kit features high-strength tubular long control arms with heavy duty brackets for durability and stability. The front coil springs are made from high tensile steel with a progressive rate design to ensure a smooth and reliable ride. Shock options include nitrogen-charged FOX 2.0 monotube or NX2 twin-tube shocks with anodized aluminum or powder-coated finishes for corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance. Rear lift blocks are made from durable cast iron, tapered for pinion angle correction.

Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and recommended for experienced technicians with access to specialty tools including a cut-off wheel, grinder, pitman arm puller, and welding equipment. The process includes steering geometry correction and some 4-inch axle kits may require transfer case indexing to eliminate driveline vibrations depending on transmission mount configuration.
