Heavy Duty Transmission Package. The BD Power Duramax Allison 1000 Transmission is a complete transmission and torque converter package engineered to enhance drivetrain durability and performance. It is ideal for street, towing, and track applications where increased power and torque demands occur. This package ensures reliable operation by pairing a dyno-tested transmission with a matched torque converter, optimizing power transfer and longevity.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This transmission includes a BD Aluminum HD deep pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts for improved cooling and extended lifespan. It features high energy friction materials and revised oil circuits with new converter lock-up and A & B trim valves to optimize clutch pressure and lock-up efficiency. The torque converter uses torque multiplying cast aluminum stators and a stamp-forged steel front cover with furnace-brazed fins, creating a robust and efficient design.
