Premium Transmission Package. The BD Power Transmission & Converter package combines a heavy-duty transmission and a matched torque converter designed for towing, street, or heavy-duty applications. It enhances drivetrain durability, increases lock-up pressures, and improves efficiency and heat management to handle the high torque output of your diesel engine effectively.

Construction and Appearance. This transmission includes a BD aluminum heavy-duty deep pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts and revised oil circuits for better fluid flow. It also features enhanced clutch packs with significantly increased clutch plates compared to stock. The torque converter is equipped with torque-multiplying cast aluminum stators, a stamp-forged steel front cover, furnace-brazed fins for improved cooling, and incorporates up to three times the lock-up clutch material for superior performance and durability.

Installation. Installation requires professional mechanical skills and typically takes about seven hours. It is a direct-fit replacement that generally does not require any drilling or vehicle modifications.

Warranty. This package includes a parts warranty covering 36 months or 150,000 miles, and a labor warranty for 12 months or 24,000 miles, excluding race abuse.
