_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This transmission features a BD aluminum heavy-duty deep transmission pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts, improving cooling and fluid longevity. It incorporates upgraded high-energy friction materials, revised oil circuits, and precision-engineered components including new converter lock-up valves and trim valves. The unit is finished to BD’s rigorous standards and dyno tested for performance assurance.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires approximately 9 hours and involves professional mechanical skills without the need for drilling or major modifications. It is essential to install the BD torque converter during transmission installation to maintain warranty coverage.
