It is designed to replace the stock transmission, providing increased clutch capacity and improved pressure management to support higher torque outputs without compromising performance.

Construction and Appearance. This transmission features a BD aluminum heavy-duty deep transmission pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts for improved cooling and longevity. It includes high-energy friction materials, revised oil circuits, and upgraded valves to optimize line pressure and clutch engagement. The unit is assembled with increased clutch counts across multiple clutch packs and finished with a robust, durable coating designed to withstand harsh operating conditions.

Installation. Installation requires approximately 9 hours and is a professional-level job, generally not requiring any drilling or modifications. It is important to install the corresponding BD torque converter to maintain warranty coverage.

Warranty. The transmission comes with a 36-month, 150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month, 24,000-mile labor warranty, excluding any race abuse.
