The BD Power Allison Transmission with Pressure Controller, including the $1800 core charge, is engineered to enhance the durability and strength of your drivetrain to handle output levels beyond stock specifications. It delivers improved performance, reliability, and longevity, making it ideal for demanding towing and heavy-duty use.

      Construction and Features. This transmission features a heavy-duty aluminum deep pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts to improve cooling and durability. It incorporates high-energy friction materials and increased steel mass to enhance heat dissipation. The clutch packs are significantly upgraded with a higher number of clutches to support increased torque capacity. Each unit is thoroughly dyno tested to ensure optimum quality and performance.

      Installation. Installation typically requires approximately 9 hours and may require professional expertise. No additional drilling is necessary. The torque converter must be replaced with the BD torque converter during installation to maintain the product warranty.

      Warranty. Parts are covered for 36 months or 150,000 miles, and labor is covered for 12 months or 24,000 miles. The warranty does not cover race abuse.
