The BD Power Allison 1000 Transmission and Converter Package with Stage 4 Stock Input Shaft and Proforce Converter, including a $2100 core charge, is engineered to boost drivetrain durability and maximize torque handling capabilities for heavy-duty towing and street performance. This matched transmission and converter package is dyno tested together to ensure reliability and exceptional performance under demanding conditions.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. The package features an aluminum HD deep transmission pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts. It includes high energy friction materials, revised oil circuits, and upgraded valves to improve hydraulic pressure and clutch engagement. The torque converter is built with cast aluminum stators, a stamp-forged steel front cover, and furnace-brazed fins to enhance strength, durability, and heat dissipation.
_x000D_Installation. Installation typically requires approximately 9 hours. No custom drilling or modifications are needed, allowing for a direct-fit installation by experienced mechanics.
