      Description

      High-Performance Transmission. The BD Power Allison 1000 Transmission, including an $1800 core charge, is engineered to significantly increase drivetrain durability for demanding towing and heavy-duty applications. Designed as a direct replacement for the stock unit, it supports higher output workloads and maintains performance in high-stress environments.

      Construction and Appearance. This transmission features a heavy-duty aluminum HD deep transmission pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts. It incorporates high energy friction materials, revised oil circuits, and upgraded valve components, including a new converter lock-up valve and A & B trim valves for enhanced hydraulic performance and clutch engagement. The rugged build is finished to withstand tough operational conditions.

      Installation. Installation typically takes approximately 7 hours and requires professional service. No drilling is necessary. For warranty validity, this transmission must be installed with the BD torque converter.

      Warranty. The product includes a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty, excluding race abuse.
