It replaces the stock transmission to reliably handle increased engine output, offering improved performance and longevity. This upgrade is essential for maximizing your Silverado 2500 HD’s capability under heavy load conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. This transmission features a BD aluminum heavy-duty deep transmission pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts, supporting better cooling and lubrication. It includes high-energy friction materials, revised oil circuits, and upgraded clutch packs with significantly increased clutch counts across various positions to ensure enhanced strength and durability. Every unit is dyno tested to verify performance and quality.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical expertise and is estimated to take approximately nine hours. No drilling is required. This transmission must be installed with a specific BD torque converter to maintain warranty coverage.

      Warranty. This transmission includes a comprehensive warranty covering parts for 36 months or 150,000 miles, and labor for 12 months or 24,000 miles, excluding race abuse.

      Application. Designed specifically for the 2007 to 2010 4WD 6.6L Duramax Silverado 2500 HD. Use of a non-BD torque converter will void the warranty for this product.
