Description

The BD Power Proforce Torque Converter requires a refundable $300 core deposit and is designed to upgrade the Dodge/RAM 66RFE transmission for vehicles equipped with 5.7L and 6.4L engines. This torque converter enhances drivetrain durability by addressing common wear issues, reducing slippage, and controlling transmission overheating to extend transmission life.
Construction and Appearance. Fully remanufactured, this torque converter features new seals, bearings, bushings, and O-rings, along with thicker lockup friction material for enhanced durability. It includes OEM torque converter bolts to ensure proper installation and maintain engineering standards.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill with an estimated time of about 7 hours. No custom drilling or modifications are necessary, allowing for a straightforward bolt-on replacement.
Warranty. The torque converter carries a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/12,000-mile labor warranty.
Application. Fits 2012-2018 RAM 2500 and 3500 Pickup and Cab & Chassis models with 5.7L or 6.4L engines.
