      High-Performance Transmission Package. The BD Power 68RFE Transmission and Converter Package with Proforce Converter includes a $2800 core charge and is engineered to provide a matched transmission and torque converter set designed for enhanced durability and performance. This package supports heavy towing and street use, delivering increased line pressure, improved clutch capacity, and superior fluid coupling efficiency to handle the power demands of diesel engines.

      Construction and Appearance. The transmission features a hard anodized valve body, a custom bonded gasket valve body separator plate, and BD durable QT100 pressure plates. Its deep sump oil pan increases fluid capacity while reducing case flex. The Proforce converter includes a billet forged front cover with thicker walls, dual-clutch design, and furnace-brazed turbine fins for improved efficiency. Components are built for reliability and endurance under heavy-duty conditions.

      Installation. Installation requires approximately 9 hours and does not require drilling. Special tuning is required for 2019 and later models to increase line pressure; the line pressure controller is not included.

      Warranty. This product comes with a 36-month or 150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month or 24,000-mile labor warranty, excluding race abuse.
