      Industry Leading Transmission. The BD Power 68RFE Transmission with Billet Input Shaft and a $2100 Core Charge is a high-performance upgrade designed to replace the factory 68RFE transmission. It addresses common failure points by increasing torque capacity and clutch durability to enhance reliability in demanding driving conditions. This transmission is ideal for handling higher horsepower and rapid throttle applications without compromising shift quality or longevity.

      Construction and Appearance. This transmission features a hard anodized valve body and a new solenoid pack, along with custom bonded gasket valve body separator plates. Reinforced components include QT100 pressure plates and a steel girdle added to the 2C piston. The billet input shaft and deep sump oil pan improve durability and cooling capacity. The finish is functional and engineered for optimal performance and longevity.

      Installation. Installation is moderately challenging with an estimated time of 9 hours and requires the replacement of the torque converter with a BD unit to maintain warranty coverage. No custom drilling or modifications are necessary.

      Warranty. This transmission carries a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty, excluding race abuse.
