It offers manual torque converter lock-up clutch control and operates seamlessly with stock shifting systems to eliminate shuttle shifting issues, making it highly suitable for demanding towing and heavy hauling conditions.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Featuring upgraded internal components such as roller Torrington bearings replacing standard thrust bushings and a drilled intermediate shaft for improved lubrication, this transmission ensures long-lasting reliability. It includes a rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan equipped with heat-dissipating fins and a magnetic drain plug, all finished with a durable, corrosion-resistant texture for extended protection.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and approximately 8 hours to complete. The sealed plug-in wiring harness eliminates the need for any cutting or tapping of wires, simplifying the installation process.
_x000D__x000D_Warranty. This transmission comes with a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty, providing confidence in its reliability and service. Please note it is not warranted for race or sled pull use, and the use of a BD torque converter is required for the warranty to be valid.
