This finish also guards the headers against the corrosion that constant exposure to exhaust gases can cause.       Bolt-On Installation. You receive the mounting hardware needed to fit these shorty headers to your vehicle’s exhaust system. The kit offers a direct bolt-on installation using standard hand tools, though you may need to raise your vehicle to fit the headers.
