Description
Performance Upgrade. The Banks Power Ram-Air Intake System enhances airflow and boosts horsepower for diesel engines. It provides a less restrictive air intake that helps reduce soot output and improve fuel efficiency by preventing hot air from entering the engine and protecting it with a large, high-quality filter element.
Construction and Appearance. This intake system includes an oversized, reusable air filter and a newly designed enclosed housing featuring a large inlet and ballistic-shaped nose. The housing is engineered to block hot engine air, ensuring cooler intake air for better engine performance. The filter element is offered in both oiled and dry options to suit different maintenance preferences.
Installation. Installation is simple and typically takes about one hour. The system is a direct replacement for the factory air intake, requiring no drilling and utilizing existing factory bolt holes for a secure fit.
Warranty. Covered by a 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
Application. Designed specifically for 2017-2019 6.6L Duramax Silverado 3500 HD models to ensure optimal compatibility and performance.
