This improvement optimizes engine efficiency and power output by enhancing exhaust flow and lowering exhaust exit temperatures, which is essential for maintaining performance during DPF regeneration cycles and protecting trailers from excessive heat.
Construction and Appearance. Made from premium 409 stainless steel with consistent 5-inch diameter mandrel-bent tubing, this exhaust system offers durability and corrosion resistance. The SideKick tip is available in a high-temperature resistant Cerakote matte black finish that provides a sleek, aggressive appearance. The patented 6.5" x 7.5" ob-round slash-cut tip is engineered to prevent heat damage and resist discoloration over time, ensuring long-lasting aesthetics.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically completed within 1.5 hours with no drilling required. This direct-fit system allows for a smooth upgrade with minimal modifications needed on compatible trucks.
