Description
High-Performance Intake Upgrade. The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake System with Fuel Line and Heater System Upgrade; Natural dramatically enhances airflow by replacing the restrictive stock intake elbow and failure-prone factory grid heater. Designed to improve throttle response, increase fuel efficiency, and prevent catastrophic engine damage caused by stock grid heater bolt failure, this system offers a reliable, high-flow intake solution for serious RAM Cummins owners while retaining emissions equipment for 50-state compliance.
Construction and Appearance. The system features a high-flow cast intake plate precision-machined for optimal thickness with an oversized inlet port. It includes a Banks exclusive high-flow coil heater engineered to fit vertically to maximize airflow. The proprietary #1 fuel line is custom-designed for unobstructed air passage. The natural aluminum finish provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface that complements the engine bay aesthetically.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and takes approximately six hours. No drilling is necessary as the system accommodates all stock mounting points and includes all necessary hardware for a direct bolt-on replacement.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2013-18 6.7L RAM 2500 and 3500 models; it is incompatible with chassis cab versions due to design differences.
