      Description

      BOOST TUBE UPGRADE KIT. The Banks Power Boost Tube Upgrade Kit; Red; Cold Side Only is a performance enhancement designed to increase the airflow capacity of the cold side boost tubes. It optimizes turbocharger efficiency by allowing the turbo to spool faster and reducing exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs). The kit replaces the stock plastic tubes with larger diameter, constant diameter tubes to provide increased power output and improved engine performance.

      CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. The boost tubes are made from mandrel-bent aluminized steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and structural integrity. They have a constant diameter design with larger radius bends for optimal airflow. The kit’s exterior is finished in a red powder-coat or natural finish that enhances grip for the heavy-duty silicone couplers, ensuring a secure high-boost fit without leaks.

      INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward and typically takes approximately two hours. The upgrade uses existing mounting points and does not require drilling or modification, making it a direct-fit replacement for the factory boost tubes.

      APPLICATION. Designed specifically for the 2010-2012 Ram 2500 6.7L Cummins models, this upgrade is intended for the cold side only and fits trucks using the stock elbow or the Banks Monster-Ram 3.5" or 4" intake elbow along with stock or compatible aftermarket intercoolers with standard inlet and outlet sizes and locations.
