- Read the Entire Manual Thoroughly Before Beginning Installation
- Left Side Indicates Driver’s Side, Right Side Indicates Passenger’s Side
- Disconnect Negative (Ground) Battery Cable Before Starting Work
- Route Wires and Hoses At Least 6” Away From Exhaust Heat, Moving Parts, and Sharp Edges; 8” Or More Is Recommended
- Perform Installation Only When Vehicle Is Completely Cool to Avoid Injury
- Properly Support Vehicle When Raised Using Recommended Safety Equipment; Avoid Using Floor Jacks or Improper Supports
- Maintain a Clean Work Area to Prevent Foreign Objects from Entering Intake, Exhaust, or Lubrication Systems
- Loosen Clamps on Rubber Hose at Stock Intake Elbow and Carefully Remove Intake Elbow
- Cover Openings with Clean Rags to Prevent Foreign Objects from Entering Intake Tract or Manifold
- Carefully Remove Electric Heater Wire Harness and Blocks, Saving Fasteners for Reuse
- Completely Remove Stock Gaskets from Heater Element Block and Intake Manifold; Clean Sealing Surfaces Thoroughly
- Keep Factory Hose and Hose Clamps at Inlet of Driver-Side Boost Tube for Reuse
- Install Banks Driver-Side Boost Tube Using Supplied Hump Hose and Clamps; Leave Clamps Loose Until Monster-Ram Installation
- Clean All Connection Ends with Non-Oil Based Solvent Before Installing Boost Tubes
- Reinstall Electric Heater Element Block with Supplied Gasket and Attach Electrical Connections Securely
- Install Banks Studs into Intake Manifold Using Thread Lock and Torque to Specified Values
- Install Supplied Ground Strap if Vehicle Lacks Factory Ground Strap on Intake Heater
- Relocate Injector Wire Harness and MAP/FRP Sensors as Illustrated; Secure Harness Properly
- Slide Provided Intake Gasket Over Studs, Install Monster-Ram, and Torque Nuts to Specified Range
- Secure Heater Wire Harness with Cable Tie; Avoid Using Plastic Pin to Attach to Monster-Ram
- Plug Unused Ports with Supplied Pipe Plugs; Ports Are for Non-Electronic Sensors Only
- Reconnect Rubber Hose from Boost Tube to Monster-Ram and Tighten Clamp to Specified Torque
- Align and Mount Dipstick Bracket to Monster-Ram Using Original Factory Bolt
- Install Supplied Corrugated Loom Over Main Connector Wires for 2004-2007 Models
- Reconnect Batteries to Complete Installation
- Fits 2003-2007 5.9L RAM 2500 Models
