Description
Long Travel Suspension. The BajaKits PreRunner Front Long Travel Suspension Kit enhances off-road performance by providing up to 11 inches of wheel travel and increasing track width by 5 inches total. Engineered for durability and improved handling, this kit uses Trophy Truck grade components to ensure high-angle articulation without failure. Designed to bolt directly onto your 2014–2018 4WD Silverado or Sierra 1500, it delivers superior ride comfort on and off-road.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring heavy-duty boxed steel upper and lower control arms with custom high-density bushings that include grease fittings for long-lasting, quiet operation. Components are precision CNC machined, incorporating corrosion-resistant taper misaligns and heat-treated steel parts for enhanced strength. The design includes stamped steel, aluminum, and forged steel materials combined to optimize durability and performance under strenuous conditions.
Installation. Installation is classified as level 2 difficulty, requiring basic mechanical skills and minimal drilling or grinding. The kit bolts on directly, allowing the option to revert to stock configuration if desired.
Application. Designed to fit 14-18 4WD Sierra 1500 with stock steel control arms, this kit accommodates 35" or 37" tires with associated suspension modifications and recommends fiberglass fenders for optimal clearance and off-road durability.
