High-Performance Rear Brake Kit. The Baer SS4+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 13-inch rotors and monster green calipers delivers increased stopping power and enhanced brake control for your vehicle. Designed for rear axle installation, this system upgrades stock 10-inch drum brakes to high-performance disc brakes, significantly improving safety and braking performance on the road.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring four-piston floating calipers machined from US forged or billet aluminum, the system is finished with a durable powder coat and hard anodized aluminum pistons. The rotors are two-piece vented units with a zinc-plated, slotted, and drilled surface combined with a billet aluminum hat, providing excellent thermal management and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Engineered for straightforward installation, this kit replaces the OE 10-inch drum brakes on compatible rear ends without requiring drilling or major modifications.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1988-1999 2WD Chevrolet/GMC trucks and SUVs including Yukon, Tahoe, and Suburban models equipped with 10-inch rear drum brakes and OE C-clip rear ends.
