The Baer Extreme Rear Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Hugger Orange Calipers is designed to deliver exceptional stopping power for enhanced vehicle safety and control. This kit is ideal for upgrading the rear braking system to support high-performance and heavy-duty applications, providing consistent performance under demanding driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring calipers machined from US sourced 2618 aluminum forging, this kit combines strength and lightweight design. The rotors are a single-piece slot-drilled zinc-plated construction with a billet aluminum hat, enhancing durability and heat dissipation. The components are finished with a powder-coated surface for corrosion resistance and a visually striking appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for those with moderate mechanical experience and does not require drilling of the vehicle’s wheel mounting surfaces. The kit includes all necessary brackets and hardware for seamless integration with existing OE rear disc brake and manual park brake systems.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit the 2007-2020 Yukon models equipped with OE rear disc brakes and manual park brakes. It is not compatible with models equipped with drum brake rear ends or electric park brakes.
