Install took less than an hour, only thing to make sure of is that your stock headlights are 2 bulbs (high and low) and not 1 bulb, if they’re one bulb you won’t be able to reuse your factory high beam. Other than that I absolutely love how they look as well as the brightnessHelpful (4)

These may cost more than other headlights but you don’t see this design on many vehicles and I feel like that really sets you apart. Aside from price these are amazing looking and have added a real nice change to the overall appearance of the truck.Helpful (7)

Well worth it!
Product fit 99 like my stock housings. Having watched the installation videos provided by AmericanTrucks, I had all potential tools I might need ahead of time and total install was approximately 45 minutes. The clear lens keeps light output at the max possible level, while the black backing looks crisp. I uploaded a few photos on my truck, take a peek (included a comparison of my stock housings for good measure). If your truck doesn't come with a DRL option already, I highly recommend installing an ignition triggered relay to activate the DRLs in this housing when the ignition is engaged. While these are more expensive compared to other available housings, I personally can justify the price for the appearance that these added to my truck, along with the nighttime safety benefits.Helpful (8)

I'm in love with these headlights literally multiple people asked me about them and love them as well. It came factory with the low beams, but I switched them out for with some brighter lights from morimoto bulbs from the retro fit source.Helpful (9)

Wow these look incredible. These and the halos look really good and alot better than the factory dodge ramsHelpful (11)
Everyone has asked the same question, the answer has not been clear. What myself and these other good folks want to know is will the DRLs run all of the time? There are no factory DRLs on Ram unless you have the factory projectors with LED strips which only come on the Laramie and above trims. If I have my headlamps on AUTO will the DRLs be on even when the headlamps are off? If not these are worthless for the purpose a lot of people are interested in purchasing them. (To have DRLs without the $5k premium to purchase the Laramie)
The LED bars will only function as DRL with additional wiring. The standard wiring has the LED bars power up when the parking lights are on.
I have factory projector headlights on my 2014 Ram 1500 Sport, I think the installation video shows the installation with a reflector headlight, my headlights seem to have a different connector, will these still be a direct replacement plug and play? Thank you in advance.
You would need to order the versions that are designed for the factory project headlight trucks. The video was done on a non-project headlight truck
Who's the manufacturer for these lights and what model number are these I have stock projectors wanna make sure I bought the right one
With the direct plug and play, will the directional lights bling at a rapid pace, or will the blink normally?
The directional lights on the Axial Black Projector Headlights will blink at factory speeds.
Will the factory aiming adjustment mechanism work with these?
Yes, the factory aiming adjustments should still work to allow you to adjust these lights when installed.
These would not be compatible with HID lights.
At this time we do not have a video, however we recommend wiring into the parking light circuit.
The DRL on these lights will need to be spliced into the parking lights on the truck, this would allow for the auto setting to work for the DRLs in this light as well.
Yes, they daytime lights will indeed work with the auto setting on.
These lights will be a plug and play design and will retain the factory functions so when you have the light switched to auto, these lights will come on and will not need to be switched on manually.
