Description
Automatic Deploying Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep XL is a power-retractable running board system designed to provide convenient and safe vehicle entry and exit. It automatically deploys when the door opens and retracts after the door closes, making it ideal for trucks with higher ground clearance. This feature enhances accessibility, especially for lifted vehicles or those requiring a lower step.
Construction and Appearance. These running boards are made from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum with a textured, slip-resistant black powder coat finish. They feature an anodized surface treated with a military-grade PTFE coating to resist corrosion and extend durability. The boards are 6 inches wide and run the full length of the cab, with integrated LED lighting to improve visibility.
Installation. Installation is a bolt-on process using existing holes in the vehicle's rocker panels, requiring no drilling. All necessary hardware, wiring, and vehicle-specific instructions are included, but professional installation is recommended for optimal results.
Warranty. This product includes a five-year limited warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship when installed according to the provided instructions.
