      Description

      Power Retractable Steps. The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards provide an automatic stepping solution, deploying when the vehicle door opens and retracting when the door closes. These running boards enhance vehicle accessibility, especially for taller trucks and SUVs, while preserving a clean look and high ground clearance when not in use.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum with a durable military-grade black PTFE finish, these PowerSteps offer long-lasting strength with a textured, slip-resistant surface. Integrated low-profile LED lights illuminate the steps for enhanced visibility and safety in low-light conditions.

      Installation. Installation requires professional expertise due to the complexity of the power deploy and retract mechanisms; however, vehicle-specific mounting kits and a plug-n-play design simplify the process. Minimal to no drilling is necessary, as the boards mount directly to the vehicle’s rocker panel.

      Warranty. This product comes with a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

      Application. Designed specifically to fit the 2001-2006 Silverado 2500 HD Extended Cab and Crew Cab models.
