Product Overview. The Amp Research PowerStep LED Light Kit is designed to replace dim or damaged LED lights on PowerStep running boards. It enhances safety by illuminating the steps for improved visibility in low-light conditions, ensuring safer entry and exit from your vehicle.

Construction and Appearance. This kit includes four LED modules with pigtails, splice connectors, a wiring harness, split loom, and nylon cable ties for organized wire management. The components are built for durability and designed to integrate seamlessly with existing PowerStep assemblies.

Installation. Installing this kit requires moderate experience, as drilling and splicing into the original PowerStep wiring harness is necessary for some applications. The installation process typically takes about an hour to complete.

Warranty. This product is backed by a 5-year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under proper installation and use.

Application. This kit fits universal applications with some adaptation required and is compatible only with PowerSteps featuring the new style Control Module.
