Power-Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Smart Series Running Boards provide automatic deployment and retraction of the step surface for easier access to vehicle cabins. Activated by door sensors, these running boards improve convenience and safety by presenting a stable stepping surface when entering or exiting a vehicle.

Construction And Appearance. Crafted from corrosion-resistant anodized cast-aluminum with a military-grade PTFE coating, these steps offer durability and resistance to wear. The 6-inch wide textured black powder-coated aluminum step provides a non-slip surface, and integrated LED lighting enhances visibility around the step area during low-light conditions.

Installation. Installation requires drilling and involves integrating the wiring harness into the vehicle's electrical system via a plug-n-play OBDII module. Due to the complexity of wiring, professional installation or advanced DIY skills are recommended.

Warranty. This product is backed by a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation.
