      Power-Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep XL Running Boards provide an automatic step that deploys when the vehicle door opens and retracts after a delay when the door closes. Designed to offer easier access for lifted trucks or vehicles with higher ground clearance, these steps extend 4 inches lower than standard PowerStep models to assist passengers safely and comfortably entering or exiting the vehicle.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from durable die-cast aluminum with corrosion-resistant properties, these running boards feature an anodized finish topped with a military-grade PTFE coating.
