Description
Power-Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards offer a seamless blend of functionality and style, automatically deploying when the door opens and retracting when it closes to maintain vehicle aesthetics and ground clearance. These running boards provide a sturdy, slip-resistant surface for safer and easier access to larger vehicles.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum, these running boards feature a military-grade black PTFE coating that ensures durability and a sleek, discreet look. The boards include a textured, slip-resistant step surface and integrated low-profile LED courtesy lights to enhance visibility in low-light conditions.
Installation. The running boards mount to the vehicle’s rocker panel. Installation is moderately difficult and professional installation is recommended. For newer vehicle models, the installation includes a plug-and-play OBD II module, which reduces complexity and eliminates the need for drilling.
Warranty. This product is backed by a 5-year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship, providing confidence to the purchaser.
Application. These running boards are specifically designed to fit 2003-2009 RAM 2500 Quad Cab models.
