The Amp Research PowerStep - Black provides convenient access to trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps by automatically deploying when the door opens and retracting when it closes. It enhances vehicle accessibility and maintains a clean exterior appearance by retracting out of sight when not in use.
Construction And Appearance. Crafted from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum, these running boards feature a military-grade black PTFE finish for strength and durability. The textured, slip-resistant surface ensures dependable footing, and integrated LED lights illuminate the step area for safer entry and exit in low-light conditions.
Installation. Installation requires mounting the steps to the vehicle’s rocker panel using a vehicle-specific installation guide and included hardware. Most applications require no drilling. The installation process can be moderately challenging, so professional installation is recommended.
Warranty. This product comes with a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in material and workmanship.
