Automatic Power Steps. The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards provide convenience and safety by automatically deploying when a vehicle door opens and retracting when closed. They offer an effortless step for entry and exit, enhancing accessibility for trucks and SUVs while maintaining sleek aesthetics.
Construction and Appearance. These running boards feature corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum with a military-grade black PTFE coating for durability and a sleek, textured finish. The 6-inch wide steps have a slip-resistant surface and include integrated low-profile LED lights for visibility and safety in low-light conditions.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and professional installation is recommended. The boards mount directly onto the vehicle's rocker panel, and newer models utilize a plug-n-play OBDII connection without drilling.
Warranty. A 5-year limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship when installed per instructions.
Application. Designed to fit 2023 to 2026 Canyon models exclusively.
