No-Tune Installation. The installation of the MXP Series Cold Air Intake requires no calibration. It has been engineered to use factory tune. However, AmericanTrucks recommends performing a custom calibration after installation to reprogram your vehicle’s ECU for the best results.
High-Quality Oiled Air Filter. The MXP Series Cold Air Intake uses a premium-level red non-woven cotton gauze air filter. Apart from the excellent airflow that it provides, this air filter also captures and traps micro particles better than regular filters so your engine stays contaminant-free even in the harshest environment.
Durable Roto-Molded Air Box. The MXP Series Cold Air Intake comes with a single-piece roto-molded air box that draws cold air from the stock RAM Air inlet from the grille. This air box has also been engineered to keep the air in which creates a high-pressure area around the filter. This results in better engine cooling performance.
Highly Durable Intake Tube. The MXP Series Cold Air Intake is equipped with a highly durable intake tube. The tube is built using high-density, cross-linked polyethylene material for maximum durability and has been designed using advanced computer technology to keep accurate mass air flow readings.
