No-Tune Installation. AIRAID designed the MXP Series Cold Air Intake to enhance the performance of your truck car without the need for calibration. It has been specially designed to use factory tune. However, AmericanTrucks recommends performing a custom calibration to reprogram your truck’s ECU for the best results.
Efficient Air Filter. The MXP Series Cold Air Intake uses a high-quality blue non-woven synthetic air filter that is easy to maintain and provides superb airflow. It has been specially designed to capture and trap micro particles better than factory filters, making it one of the most efficient air filters available for your vehicle.
Roto-Molded Air Box. The MXP Series Cold Air Intake features a single-piece roto-molded air box that draws cold air from the OE RAM Air inlet from the grille. This air box has also been designed to hold the air in to create a high-pressure area around the filter for better cooling performance.
Heavy-Duty Intake Tube. The MXP Series Cold Air Intake features a high-quality intake pipe. It is made of high-density, cross-linked polyethylene material that has been thoroughly tested for maximum durability and lasting performance. This tube has also been designed using advanced computer technology to maintain proper mass air flow readings.
Bolt-On Installation. Setting up this MXP Series Cold Air Intake is simple with its bolt-on design. It directly replaces your truck’s air intake and installs using the OE mounting locations without the need for special modifications.
