Description
Power-Up Your Engine. Boost your Silverado 2500 HD’s power and performance by using this AIRAID Cold Air Dam Intake with Red SynthaMax Dry Filter. Using this intake system delivers larger amounts of cooler air to produce more horsepower and torque. This will also enable you to experience remarkable improvements in throttle response, engine sound, and overall driveability. This kit includes a heat shield, black intake tube, huge open-element air inlet, and a high-performance red SynthaMax dry air filter for enhanced airflow.
Calibration Not Required. The Cold Air Dam Intake does not require ECU calibration to operate, thanks to the built-in velocity stock that maintains proper air-to-fuel ratios. The factory tune is sufficient for this intake kit to operate on your vehicle. AmericanTrucks, however, still recommends a custom tune to reprogram the ECU to get the best possible performance from this upgrade.
Performance Air Filter. The SynthaMax air filter included in this intake kit is designed for an excellent filtration capacity with its layered synthetic media. The filter media consists of two layers with the outer needlefelt polyester layer designed for high airflow. The inner layer captures the remaining contaminants with an efficient dust holding capacity.
Long-Lasting Durability. Built for long-lasting optimum performance, this Cold Air Dam Intake is engineered to withstand high heat stress and various mechanical impacts. It features a durable, roto-molded, airbox to keep the hotter surrounding air from getting into the system. The high-strength, black intake tube delivers the most efficient airflow with its free-flowing configuration.
Seamless Compatibility. Featuring a straightforward installation, this Cold Dam Air Intake Kit is engineered to fit into your truck’s factory mounting locations with no drilling required. The installation can typically be completed using standard hand tools and light to moderate mechanical skills.
Lifetime Warranty. Airaid offers a limited lifetime warranty against factory defects in materials and craftsmanship of this Cold Air Dam Intake system. Some limitations and exclusions are indicated in the manufacturer’s warranty guide; please check the terms and conditions for full details.
CARB-Compliant. This Cold Dam Air Intake complies with the emission regulations set forth by the CARB. It is 50-state emissions-legal under CARB E.O Number D-609-18.
