Description
Charges Up Performance. The AIRAID MXP Series Cold Air Intake System provides you with high performance gains when it come to horsepower, torque, and acceleration that you will not have with your RAM 2500's stock air box. This 1-piece air box and premium oiled filter improves air flow to create more power, but not at the expense of fuel economy as air and fuel are handled more efficiently.
No Tune Required. This AIRAID MXP Series Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your RAM without the need of reprogramming your trucks computer. By utilizing state of the art computer-aided designs, this AIRAID Intake will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Superior Filtration. This MXP Series Cold Air Intake provides superior air filtration, since it includes an Airaid Premium Filter with SynthaFlow® technology. SynthaFlow® is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze “performance” filters just can’t capture. Airaid Premium Filters, with SynthaFlow® can capture particulates down to 2 microns in size. Best of all Premium Filters are washable and re-usable saving you money.
One-Piece Roto-Molded Design. The AIRAID MP Series Cold Air Intake system has been designed through extensive computer modeling that overcomes all the shortcomings that factory designs have because of their restrictive nature. The improved design of the intake tube with its cross-linked, high-density polyethylene allows it to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration. Fresh air intake is incorporated into this system to promote airflow.
Easy Bolt-On Installation. The AIRAID MXP Series Cold Air Intake system is easy to install with common hand tools. All the hardware you need for installation is included.
AIRAID No-Hassle Warranty. With AIRAID's "No-Hassle" lifetime warranty, your new cold air intake system is covered for any defects in materials or workmanship.
