Description
High-Flow Cold Charge Pipe. The AFE BladeRunner 3-1/2-Inch Cold Charge Pipe; Black enhances engine performance by improving airflow on the cold side of the intercooler system. It replaces the restrictive factory tube to reduce turbulence and pressure drop, resulting in increased horsepower, torque, and lower exhaust gas temperatures. Designed to efficiently transfer cooled air to the engine, this pipe supports optimal diesel truck performance.
Construction and Appearance. Made from TIG-welded 3-1/2-inch mandrel bent aluminum tubing, it ensures smooth airflow with minimal turbulence. The pipe features a durable wrinkle-black powder coat finish and a laser-cut aluminum logo for a customized look. Included are heavy-duty stainless steel spring-loaded T-Bolt clamps and reinforced 5-ply silicone couplings rated for 200 PSI, ensuring a secure, long-lasting assembly.
Installation. Installation uses factory mounting locations and requires no drilling or modification. The included 6061-T6 billet aluminum factory-style quick connect adapter with O-ring seal simplifies sensor connections, enabling a fast and secure installation.
Application. Designed specifically for 2017 to 2019 6.6L Duramax Silverado 3500 HD models, this cold charge pipe is engineered to meet the demands of this truck’s turbocharged diesel engine for reliable and enhanced performance.
